'I love your site about cats! My wife and I are also cat lovers, and now have six of the little terrors. We took in a stray that was wandering the streets a couple of weeks ago, not microchipped, so we put up posters everywhere etc, and no one has claimed her... so looks like we're keeping her. She is so friendly.

I read with interest on your site about cats getting trapped - we had one that was trapped a few years ago and taken to the pound, luckily we were able to 'bail him out' before the execution day, but I do wonder what is wrong with neighbours who trap cats and then call the pound to come and get them. Luckily, that neighbour has moved away now.

Anyway, thanks for putting up a great site, and I hope it works out well for you!' Roger C. Qld

Hi,

As a cat lover myself I was horrified to read your Simon's story.

We've just recently moved to Ellenbrook and we love our cats to bits. We consider them our children and we would be devastated if anything happened to them. I think it's deplorable to have this law.

Our cats are kept indoors while we are work and when we get home we let them out for an hour or so. They however do not go outside our section and just stays in our backyard.

My neighbour has a dog that barks all night - weekdays and weekends. Is there a law agaings this? Can we complain about this? I think dogs are far more destructive than cats.

Bles, Ellenbrook
